HEART FOUNDATION GALA

Designed as an evening-in-the-round, The Heart Foundation Gala featured an evening with David Foster and friends that was intentionally crafted to feel less like a traditional fundraiser and more like an intimate dinner party. Guests surrounded the performance space, creating a living-room-style atmosphere where music, conversation, and storytelling unfolded organically.

Thoughtful lighting, close-proximity seating, and a refined dinner setting blurred the line between audience and stage-especially during a moving vocal performance by Katharine McPhee-Foster, who co-hosted the evening alongside her husband. Moments of humor with Jon Lovitz, the presentation of Steven S. Cohen Humanitarian Award to Dana Carvey, and heartfelt tributes anchored the night. The experience raised funds and awareness for heart disease research benefiting The Heart Foundation and the Smidt Heart Institute at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center, proving that when immersive design and purpose align, the impact resonates far beyond the room.
