To launch the 100th Anniversary celebration of the Naval Aviation Foundation, AOO Events designed and produced an unforgettable evening aboard the historic USS Midway, honoring a century of innovation, service, and aviation excellence. Following a spectacular daytime flyover featuring more than 200 vintage and active-duty aircraft, 700 distinguished guests gathered aboard one of America's most iconic aircraft carriers for an evening of reflection, celebration, and connection.

Rather than competing with the ship's remarkable history, AOO embraced it. The Midway's hangar deck was thoughtfully transformed into an elegant event environment where chandeliers, layered lighting, and a refined red, white, and blue palette enhanced the character of the space while preserving its powerful sense of place. Hosted by Brett Favre, the evening blended live presentations, meaningful tributes, and immersive design into a guest experience that honored both the history and the future of naval aviation.

Throughout the evening, custom films by Brett Culp Films brought personal stories of courage, service, and sacrifice to life, adding emotional depth to the celebration. The night concluded with a live performance by Kenny Loggins, whose music provided a memorable finale to a milestone event that demonstrated how thoughtful event design can honor history while creating meaningful new memories for those experiencing it.
